October 15, 2009 Outstanding Players make outstanding plays and we have some great ones again this week. Our third addition of Friday Night's Best is right here. Once again we have seen some tremendous individual and team efforts and things are getting really exciting as we come down the home stretch on our way to the play offs. The best submissions we have are right here:Ryan Bergman of Issaquah completed 26 of 35 passes for 531 yards; 6 six touchdowns as he led his team to a 40-7 victory over Redmond. Drew Clausen of West Valley in Spokane completed 10 of 15 passes for 210 yards and four touchdowns in a 48-21 win over Deer Park. John Charroin; Nooksack Valley: He returned the opening kickoff 75 yards for a touchdown to help his team win 23-20 over Meridian. He also had 10 tackles with two sacks. Henry Matai of Lyle-Wishram carried the ball 14 times for 287 yards. He had 5 TD's to lead his team to a 60-24 Win over St John. Tusapa Laolagi; Blaine: Laolagi spent the night in Squalicum's backfield recording 3 sacks causing 3 fumbles and recovering one of them himself while delivering some of the biggest hits of the game. Dylan Zylstra; Kentridge: Dylan had 15 tackles with 4 for loss. KR beat Tahoma. That's 30 tackles with eight for loss in the last two games... Joe Fuerst; Eisenhower: Joe scored the first three touchdowns of the game (all rushing) to increase his season total to 11 td's for the year leading the big nine in total rushing td's. Improving his team to 6 wins and no losses for the season . Colt Carpenter; Mark Morris: Carpenter rushed for 166 yards on 16 carries while also adding 2 touchdowns from 24 yards and one from 5 yards out. They beat Woodland 41-7. Malchi Roberts; Eastmont High: He made an incredible athletic move to catch an 80 yard TD bomb with 1:24 left to give the Wildcats the lead. He can fly and jump like Crazy. This guys should be getting some real attention! Josh Tyler; Montesano: He has an amazing arm and manages his team like a Pro. He is a big time player and they beat Ranier 60-0. Montesano's defense: AMAZING: Holding teams scoreless. So Tough! Nathan Wilfong; Kalama: He ran for 4 TD's and over 200 yards.
