What makes a great camp? What makes a great experience? Having done this business of High School Football so long the Nike Football group has the answer to those questions in a way that no one else really does. And it is the direct result of their incredible staff and the combined years of experience. Today at the U of O they pulled off one of the great camps we have ever been too.
It was not all the star power and top recruits; but their were plenty. It was not the perfect Oregon June weather (for once) either. Nor was it the spectacle that is the U of O and the world class facilities. No what it was in fact was the staff and the kids they came to teach.
Today at the Nike NFTC Camp we saw coaching at the highest level from the Nike Staff and a wide array of top positional coaches from around the Region. And receiving that coaching was one of the most eager group of kids we have seen at the camp which was about 300 kids in terms of a head count today. A very manageable number at that.
While we will have a couple of weeks of analysis we wanted to get off the first 100 pictures of about 2000 we shot and a fun little video or two to give you the sense of what an event like this was all about!
