Zach Eagle may be the son of Head Coach Jon Eagle and is in fact a coaches kid. But that makes him work all the harder to stand out. The Camas High Junior has shown this year that he is a major asset to his team helping them in many ways to get to their 5-0 mark after the big win over #4 Skyview 42-17 this past week.
That battle will move them up in the 4A polls to at least #4 if not higher. And no one watching them is surprised.
Eagle is the first of several talented athletes at Camas we will be catching up to. We watched him against Auburn Mountain View and have reviewed film. This utility player does everything well and has an excpetional football IQ. It was crazy the way he was in on every play and seemed always where he needed to be on offense or defense to make a positive difference for the Papermakers.
Here is the 2 MInute Drill Interview with Zach Eagle.

| ON: Is there any recent news on the Collegiate front? Have you been contacted by any schools via phone, em,ail, mail, text, or Facebook etc? | |
| No schools yet. Just getting started. | |
| ON: How is the Season Going so far for you and the Team? | |
| We are 5-0 and are just trying to continue to get better. I am very satisfied with my role on our team. | |
| What Position(s) are you playing this season? | |
| Wide receiver, safety, punt returner, kick returner, and holder. | |
| ON: Are you happy with your progress? | |
| I feel my quickness and good hands are a strength for me. My top end speed is getting better and I'm still working on that. My route running is getting more efficient as well. | |
| On: What is your favorite part of the Football season? | |
| The league play. Just the atmosphere of a big time league game. | |
| In a year from now what do you want to look back on and remember about this season that is just ahead? | |
| I would like to make Camas' first year as a 4A team memorable. I hope we can surprise some people and make a run in the playoffs. | |
| Name some guys who you have been impressed with on your team? Any surprises or young guys standing out? | |
| Some guys that maybe aren't heard of as much are Michael Johnson, corner, and Jordan Payne corner. They both have stepped up this year to help us in the secondary and on special teams. Also, Payne is getting some reps on offense at receiver. | |
| ON: Why should a college recruit you when there are so many kids out there? What sets you apart? | |
| I believe I have some of the intangibles. I'm crafty with running routes, and have quickness. I'm also going to get better every year, I will work on the things I need to and make improvements. I may not be the biggest or fastest, but I have a passion for the game. | |
