You won't find publishers as dedicated to their community, sports,
and athletes as Dirk Knudsen. Dirk handles the day-to-day operations
on WashingtonPreps in addition to assisting athletes at football camps,
speaking at recruiting clinics, and helping Rivals.com identify and
evaluate talent.
Dirk is a graduate of Hillsboro High School and
played ball for the legendary Barry Adams. He went on to attend Portland
State as a National Merit Scholar and graduated Cum Laude. He is the
the son of long time PIL Football Coach and Collegiate Small College
All American Jack Knudsen.

IN
MEMORY OF MIKE WARCHOL (1972-2007)
It wouldn't be fair if we didn't acknowledge the work and effort that
Mike Warchol poured into WashingtonPreps from its inception through today.
Many members of the site know him for his great features and deep knowledge
of Washington Sports.
Others knew him for his dedication to his family (wife Kimberlee and their
three children). His loss was an impact for everyone in the Northwest.
On August 14th, 2007, Andrew Micheal Warchol passed away at the young
age of 35 in Vancouver, Washington. Mike was an integral part of the Northwest
operation for Rivals.com and the inspiration behind WashingtonPreps.com.
