Very debatable but here goes
Boys -
100 - Fuller, King's; Collins, Royal; Ruether, Cashmere;
200 - Fuller, King's; Ruether, Cashmere; Schulten, Cedar Park;
400 - Fuller, King's; Allen, Cashmere; LaFrancois, Cascade Chr;
Not a lot of depth in the sprints
800 - Crabill, C Wright; Empey, Connell; Smith, C Wright;
1600 - Decker, P Townsend; Pierson, Cashmere; Crabill, C Wright;
3200 - Decker, P Townsend; Piatt, P Townsend; King, Coupeville; Johnson, S.Academy; Marcial, K-Benton;
Tons of depth in the distance races.
110 Hurdles - Brugger, King's; Ramos, Cascade Chr; Zhang, King's; Clauson, King's; Mendoza, Wahluke; Walden, Newport;
High hurdles will be a tough final with a very close finish top to bottom.
300 Hurdles - Ramos, Cascade Chr; Phillips, BCS; Gage, Highland; Clauson, King's;
Ramos wins easy then a tossup for the rest.
4*1 Relay - Cashmere, King's, Charles Wright
4*4 Relay - King's, Cashmere, Charles Wright, Freeman
Will Fuller hold off Cashmere.
High Jump - Coulson, Connell; Meyers, Stevenson; Blok, Lynden Chr;
No clear fav, who will step up.
Pole Vault - Holter, Kalama; Frye, Newport; Schimke, Lakeside; Miske, S.Academy; Blatchford, King's;
Big 2 then drops off.
Long Jump - Collins, Royal; Iseman, BCS; Burley, King's; Clauson, King's;
Collins a big fav unless Iseman finds his old form. Young Clauson could surprise.
Triple Jump - Stinson, C Wright; Burley, King's; Mathews, Freeman; Weise, Highland;
Big 3 then drops off.
Shot Put - Lohman, Chewelah; Nelson, Chewelay; Crook, Meridian; Wilcox, Naches;
Chewelah dominates. Little depth this year.

Chewelah again. Battle for the rest.
Javelin - Clauson, King's; Crook, Meridian; McMahon, S.Academy; Bushy, Casmere; Spencer, Castle Rock;
Young Clauson should improve ahead of a tight field.

100 - Leavitt, K-Benton; Stump, Stevenson; Williams, C.Wright; Midgley, U.Prep.; Wickenhaugen, Highland;
200 - Leavitt, K-Benton; Stump, Stevenson; Murphy, A.Wright;
K-B stud wins both easily. 2 and 3 are good but...
400 - Leavitt, K-Benton; Murphy, A.Wright; Beamer, Chewelah;
Will Leavitt run this? Will Thomas move down?
800 - Thomas, King's; Hussey, BCS; Schoenherr, Rainier; Bush, Newport;
Does Murphy move up?

Watch out for the freshman.
3200 - Meyers, Bush; Romney, Forks; Vazqueez, Mabton; Eslinger, King's; Royal, Coupeville.
Defendin champ Romney in for a tough challenge.
100 Hurdles - Lotze, K-Benton; Casper, Connell; Chamberlain, LaCenter;
K-B with ease.
300 Hurdles - Stump, Stevenson; Altig, BCS; Oldham, BCS; Lotze, K-Benton.
Easy winner, then a battle if Lotze runs this.
4*100 relay - Chewelah, Seattle Academy, Charles Wright
4*200 relay - Chewelah, Charles Wright, Kiona-Benton
4*400 relay - King's, BCS, Seattle Academy, Cashmere
All relays a bit of a guess.

Will Leavitt do this or the 400?
Pole Vault - Secrest, Lakeside; Blatchford, King's; Trigg, LaCenter;
The vault is wide open. Who will step up.
Long Jump - Cobb, Chewelah; Fast, Meridian; Penner, Stevenson; Renier, Columbia;
Pretty deep field.
Triple Jump - Cobb, Chewelah; Lotze, K-Benton; Boutillier, Naches; Fast, Meridian; Penner, Stevenson;
Very deep field.
Shot Put - Coffee, Toledo; Champberlain, LaCenter; Coffman, Lakeside; Himango, Nooksack;
Easy winner then a battle.
Discus - Beamon, Toledo; Tauvela, Orting; Himango, Nooksack; Widell, Okanogan;
Tight battle.

There are some big studs who can do a variety of events. The big question is which events will they do?

I think collins can take the 100 meter

Posted on 3/12 9:22 PM | IP: Logged

Wow...very well done! It will be interesting to see how close this is at the end of May!

Posted on 3/13 1:37 PM | IP: Logged

Yes if anyone can beat Fuller it would be Collins. I went with Fuller due to his time of 11.19 in his sophomore year but it could be very close. I guess it will come down to which one improves the most.

I don't see any of the Northwest Christian (Lacey) athletes mentioned. The lot of them will contend for everything 400 meters and up, plus the mile relay.

Isn't NW Chr. Lacey a B school?
The list was a 1A list if you read the heading.

Is Dixon from Forks doing track this year?

Posted on 3/23 12:40 PM | IP: Logged

Lucas Dixon ran for Forks last year but hasn't posted any marks yet this year. His marks from last year do not warrent any state consideration. He is young so might improve quickly but until then he is still unmentionable.
