2 out of 3 ain’t bad……GSHL!
Hats off to the Papermakers on a great run.
Like any storm, the longer is brews, the more powerful it can be. Great Job Skyview!
And Adams, what can you say about a coming out party like that against the #1
24 pts/16 rebounds. Player of the year numbers, no doubt. Has the Columbian ever selected an all region player that wasnt an all league first team selection? Watch this one, This is D-1.
The Birds of Prey did what they needed and by most, were expected to do. The wheels feel off of the Juanita wagon tonight.
Lanz, Linsdsey, Corral and company all punched their Dome ticket and solidified their candidacy.

The final 8 days of the season starts today. The three teams are probably on the road except for maybe the Falcons, they probably left yesterday after last weeks trials The Storm take the floor at 4pm against the # 1 in 4A Lake Stevens. The Union boys reminded us last night that with enough effort, the underdogs can prevail. Know you can win this game today Storm, and see you at the dome on Thursday.
Camas is defiantly in a winable contest. The 3 meetings with the Falcons this season helped to prepare them for the unknown. They know they can compete. Play hard to the end and the Dome awaits you Good luck and make history.
The assumption is that tonight is a formality for the Falcons. The team never takes any thing for granted as maybe the student body does. They will play hard and they will win. Corral is the difference maker in this one. Probably not the leading scorer, but the difference maker.
That's why she is a perennial candidate.
3-0 tonight GSHL! Good luck.

As GSHL’s finest crescendo into the final two weeks of the season, the selection process unfolds for many all-league, all-region, all-tournament and all-state players. The decisions in many cases are going to be made on criteria other than scoring average. On court leadership in sportsmanship and altruistic play will have a role in deciding between statistically comparable candidates. This causes some questions as to why a selection was made as it is un-quantified. Players should make this part of their game as they travel to new venues with new spectators remembering that many will see them play for the first time. They will apply what they observe to the stats that they are familiar with.
Best of luck to all on the quest for a state title and may the best "team" win.

Lanz flies to another big night with 19 as the Falcons soar Corral continues to hover.
Stiasna and Allen continue to make Paper as Camas rolls.
Bowen and Adams, well, stay tuned as the Storm builds in the north.
The Tigers have been caged for the last time this season.
Holboke's Thunder has been heard. Emily Smith of Woodland scores her 1000th point in the loser out loss.
As the cream rises, the field narrows.
More on Monday.

3A - All GSHL Team announced: Corral, Allen, Holboke, Lanz, Lindsley, Woodward
Stiasna on second team. Interesting.
All-Region candidate list has been shortened.

Stiasna put up good numbers a few times, but honestly I didn't see her in double figures very often. A few games she was... rebounding alone isn't enough for first team.
Corral, Lanz, Lindsley and Woodward have all put up good numbers in multiple categories, not just scoring. I've seen Allen score high often in the boxscores... and how could you NOT put Holboke on the first team... she put on a show this year.

Lanz validates her selection with 5 tre's ending with 21.
Camas made the Wilson crowd sweat. Good job. Try again today.
Stiasna is a not a big stat builder like maybe a couple candidates, but definatly a presence like few others in the region.
Chatman and the Titans finish at the hands of AR.
Bond steps up with 23 in the Tiger win. Grossman out of the line up.
Bowan and Adams hanging in there after a rough night. Back to form later today.
Corral did not fill the stat sheet, but obviously is the one to beat.
See who steps up in today's games.
