During the NFL game I was watching this weekend a pass interference flag was picked up because the ball was ruled uncatchable. I understand that but what I don't understand is why it isn't changed from pass interference to illegal contact instead of no penalty. It was before the ball got to the receiver and more than five yards down field and the DB did in fact hit the receiver.
