Well the Fan went 6-3 last week bringing the overall record to 56-12 for the year.
The Fan understands Auburn over Kentlake. The Trojans had had enough. He understands Aub-Riverside over Tahoma. Da Bears have shown flashes of being a good team but can't put it all together. He doesn't understand the GK/Beamer game. The Fan was at a different game Friday night and didn't get to see the game except for the highlights on Varsity News. By the looks of things the Eagles need to be much more disciplined in their defense. They now run the risk of going to the pig tail game. WOW!
The playoff picture is still a bit foggy but the #1 almost seems assured. In the North, KW will be the #1. In the South, Curtis will be the #1. After that Rogers is the likely #2 in the South with Auburn the #2 in the North.
Bethel could cause a three way tie this week with a win over Curtis. It seems unlikely but surprises happen all the time.

Thursday games
Curtis 48 Bethel 28
The Braves will score but will they score enough to keep up with Curtis? The Fan doesn't think so. There is not enough defense on the field for the Braves. A loss by Bethel moves them to the #3 and assures Curtis of the #1. The Fan thinks the Viks will prevail.
Kentlake 42 Emerald Ridge 7
The Falcon's get back on the right track. They have the inside track to the #3 with wins over the other teams with two losses. The Jags are playing better but there is not enough here to get it done.
Auburn 42 Kent-Meridian 21
The Trojan's look to be the solid #2 out of the North. The Royal's have played better thanks to their stud. Take him out of the equation & there's not much else. Trojan's roll in this one.
Beamer 31 Puyallup 28
Ok the Puyallup team that played Bethel this last Friday should never have lost to Emerald Ridge. They played with heart and played well. A couple breaks here and there and they would have beaten Bethel. Beamer knocked off GK & has the inside track for the #4. The Fan can hardly believe it. The Titan's in a close one that could go either way.
Friday games
Kentridge 28 Tahoma 14
There is no wiggle room for the Bolts. They must play solid from the first whistle to the end. They are likely in the playoff picture but they must win this one. The Fan keeps thinking Da Bears are better than they really are. They get their 1st league win next week.
Rogers 42 Graham Kapowsin 28
The Rams have been under the radar all year. Their only loss is to Curtis. They've blown out a good Kentridge team. GK stands between being the #2 out of the South or falling further down the pecking order. The Fan likes the Rams in this one.
Kentwood 35 Auburn Riverside 7
The Conqs look like a good #1 and continue to prove it.
Federal Way 35 Spanaway Lake 14
The Eagle's should get win #3 in week 8. They have fallen drastically since moving to the South. Hmmmm.... The Fan wonders about league strength but that is a different topic for a different day.
Saturday game
Jefferson 42 Mt. Rainier 0
The Raiders can score!! The Rams cannot. Not a good combo. Don't waste your time on this one.
