Mark Morris (10-1) vs. Ellensburg (11-0) : Friday November 20th at Lampson stadium in Kennewick

The Monarchs from Longview make the long trip east to battle the #1 ranked Ellensburg Bulldogs. Mark Morris has rolled to
10 straight wins since an opening week 14-15 loss to 4A Kelso. The Monarchs battered Interlake with their potent wing-t
offense last week 35-21. They are led by Air Force recruit Jake Welch, a superb defensive lineman as well as running back
Travis Kinder, quarterback Scott Kirpatrick, and linebacker/running back Dan Feeney.
The Ellensburg Bulldogs have been paced all season by their outstanding quarterback Ethan Sterkel. Ethan and his favorite
target junior wideout Kramer Ferrell hooked up for 4 touchdowns in the Bulldogs 45-35 opening round win over a pesky
Clarkston ball club. Ellensburg, who has outscored their opponents 473-107 on the campaign, also get standout play from
tight end Blaze Affholter and linebacker Bobby Riddell.
Othello (9-2) vs. West Valley (11-0) : Saturday November 21st at Gonzaga Prep High School in Spokane
The Othello Huskies make the trek east to Spokane to test the undefeated West Valley of Spokane Eagles. For the fourth
year in a row the Huskies battled the Colville Indians in the opening round of the state playoffs, and prevailed for the third
straight year 26-13. Othello is led by superb wide receiver/defensive back Devon Lind, who is also a very dangerous return man.
Quarterback Jeremy Cerrillo, running back Parker Davis and running back Matt Jensen add to the offensive arsenal.
The Eagles from West Valley of Spokane have flown under the radar for most of their season, but the undefeated Eagles
let the state know they are a team to be reckoned with last week with a convincing 29-0 blowout of the Selah Vikings.
West Valley who is coached by former Othello standout Craig Whitney, are paced by quarterback Drew Clausen, running backs
Krys Smith and Dylan Ellsworth and standout receiver Mitch Peterson.
Lynden (10-1) vs. Sequim (10-1) : Saturday November 21st at Silverdale stadium
The Lynden Lions travel down south on Saturday to tangle with an upstart Sequim ball club. The Leos had their hands
full last Saturday with a stubborn Black Hills team, but held on to win 14-7. The Lions are paced by all-state wideout/
defensive back Blair Bomber, a WSU football recruit. Lynden dual threat quarterback Jordan Hastings has had an excellent
year. Running back Brett Bajema and Ryan Seto a superb receiver and linebacker add to the Lynden firepower.
The Wolfpack from Sequim are coming off their first playoff win in school history with a hard fought 34-32 win over
Burlington-Edison. Sequim has bounced back since a tough week 3 loss to 1A powerhouse Cascade Christian 7-21. The
Wolves have been led on the gridiron all year by running back Travis Decker who had 155 yards and 3 td's vs. Burlington.
The Sequim passing attack is led by quarterback Drew Rickerson and receiver John Textor.
Archbishop Murphy (10-1) vs. WF. West (11-0) : Saturday November 21st at Tumwater stadium
The Wildcats from Everett travel down I-5 south on Saturday to tangle with the undefeated Bearcats from Chehalis.
Archbishop Murphy went to their aerial assault last Saturday to down RA Long 35-10. Standout Junior quarterback
Austin VanderWel has led the Wildcats all season with his passing and running skills. Running back Alex Martinez and wide
receiver/back Jake Clark both had superb performances vs. RA Long. Outstanding tight end Tani Tupou is a UW recruit.
The Bearcats from Chehalis rolled through a tough Evergreen conference undefeated and continued their winning
ways with a 38-20 win last Saturday over a tough Blaine ball club. WF West's superstar quarterback Ben Turnan led the
way last weekend with 2 touchdowns passing and 2 running the rock. The Bearcats high powered passing attack is
also led by wideouts Mitch Gueller and Erik Forgione.
