Now this is one to ponder and just say "Wow".    If what we are hearing is right Austin Rehkow of Central Valley High School just hit a 67 Yard Field Goal out in Spokane, Washington.  They were playing Shadle Park tonight and we just featured a story on their QB Brett Rypien who was set to break league and school records tonight and did throw for 585 yards.
But it looks like Austin had plans of his own for a record or two.  Details are still coming in but we wanted to be one of the first to share and comment.  Twitter is a fire with his feat!
Austin is on the NWPR WashingtonPreps.com Prospect Watch List for 2013 and a 3.96 Student!
And here we have the Video!  Isn't Social Media Great!  WOW…. Kids are amazing these days!  The kick tied the game and sent it to overtime.  His team went on to win 62-55!
That folks is the Play of The Week.  Unless someone tops that.  This kid is one for the ages!
Editors Note:  Austin posted a message tonight to everyone that supported him while the film and the story go Viral Nuts!  Here is his message!
"WOW! Amazing night to say the least. Can't believe it! Thanks to everyone for the compliments and shout out to my team! Grayson With a huge rushing night along with Brandon, Scotty with the blocker PAT and INT, and the line doing a GREAT job! Thanks to The whole FG team in what has truly been legendary! Sportscenter top play!!!"
