Lakes Cover Man Tapped for Aloha Bowl

It was a tough loss for Lakes last week after Liberty came from behind to win that game 17-14. They truly were a talented bunch. Their incredible season and team and individual efforts did not go unnoticed however.
Many of their players are garnering regional and National attention. One of those guys is corner back Dee Maggitt. He holds offers from 5 collegiate programs.

Today we are pleased to announce that we nominated him to represent the Mainland US team in the Mainland VS Hawaii All Stars Game to be held in Honolulu on December 12th.
The game is managed by Sports Link Inc. who manage and run the ARMY ALL AMERICAN GAME and Combine. The game is in its second year and will pit many of the top players from the US against the top players form Hawaii and Samoa.
Dee has accepted the invitation and will be traveling to Hawaii with Anthony DeMatteo of Skyline and Colin Porter of Bothell. These three should all be impact players in that game and represent the North West very well.
Dee's father Daryl accepted the call and said that this will "work out great and is a big honor" as Dee also has an official visit to University of Hawaii that same weekend who he has an offer from.
"He is a terrific talent and the best Corner Back we have had here at Lakes. This is a well deserved honor for him," said Head Coach Dave Miller.
We wish Dee Maggitt a great trip and know that he the the other boys will raise the level of play there and do a great job!! Congratulations.
