In the 4th Q, when the diff betw the teams exceed 35 points, that seems to mandate a running clock for the remainder of the game. But it causes a lot of confusion for the timekeeper (me).
IE: What if team A is ahead 36-0 at the start of the 4Q, then team B scores on the 1st play of the final qtr. What then? Back to conventional rules?

Also: Often, instinctively Im sure, one of the other 4 reffs will signal time out, on an inc pass, runner goes OB, penalty, interception or fumble recovery (turnover) etc. Then the Wht hat signals, no, dont stop it, keep it going. So, what are the reasons for stopping the clock in a "running" sitch? Im thinking TO called by one of the teams, injury on the field, or TD/FG. Are there any other instances? And, after a TD, I stp it. When should Wht Hat start it again?

Reason being, I have been involved in perhaps 4-5 35 pt games so far, some JV and some V. Often, they like to speed up the JV games, so the Wht Hat often winds after a chg of possession or an inc pass.
